Creating space for connection

Through music, movement, and mindfulness, I help people cultivate greater connection to themselves, their communities, and the world around them.

Drawing on my experience as a professional musician, dancer, educator, and yoga practitioner, I create experiences that explore the relationship between movement, breath, music and awareness.

I've been a musician for as long as I can remember.

My first instrument was the piano, followed by the flute, but what has always drawn me to music is not simply learning notes or performing on stage. Music has always been an embodied experience for me. Growing up, music and dance were woven into my family's culture, and even as a child I knew that music was more than something I could hear. It was something I could feel in my body.

As I began studying music formally, I sometimes felt a disconnect between an embodied experience of music and the rigorous technical training required of orchestral study. Dance helped me rediscover that connection. Today, my work includes performing, teaching, collaborative music-making, and using music as a tool for meditation, reflection, and nervous system regulation.

I love the process of embodiment and self-expression that movement offers.

Dance has always given me a way celebrate the individuality and creativity that often felt missing from the more structured aspects of classical music training.

That path eventually led me to yoga, where I developed a deeper understanding of the relationship between the body, breath, mind, and nervous system, especially in high-pressure environments like performance and teaching. What began as a personal practice grew into a teaching practice, opening new ways to help others explore movement, mindfulness, and self-awareness.

I discovered that many of the same tools that supported me as a musician, like body awareness, breathwork, presence, and listening, could also help others navigate everyday life with greater awareness, resilience, and connection.

Today, my work takes many forms.

Whether through music, movement, mindfulness, or community experiences, my goal is to help people cultivate greater awareness, creativity, connection, and presence.

Sometimes that looks like a yoga class, a sound bath, a workshop, or a community event. Sometimes it looks like a flute lesson that incorporates embodied awareness, breathwork, and mindful practice techniques. The format changes, but the intention remains the same: creating spaces where people can learn, grow, connect, and feel more at home in their own bodies.
